Red apple succulent flower

Each day on the walk, I look for small things that make me smile.  Living in Southern California there are an abundance of succulents that surprise us with their flowers. I love this red apple succulent ground cover when it blooms it is so cheery and always makes me smile.  The bees like it too!  Succulent as a noun means plants that retain water and do well in arid or semi-arid climates.  As an adjective, succulent means juicy, luscious, ripe, soft,or tender.   I love all those words.  The plant whispers to me to remember that you can choose to have your life be bright, cheery, juicy, luscious, ripe, soft and tender.
