When you start looking closely at trees many have faces. I don’t think this tree face is happy. Perhaps because the cable which is holding up another branch.
It is such a beautiful day today. The trees were saying it was a day to dance with the sky and reminding me to dance with the gifts that I have been given.
On the walk I often see trees representing the way heaven and earth meet. Like the bright white light of the sun shining through these branches. We aren’t separate from heaven. We don’t have to wait for it. We simply have to embrace it in this moment.

I am in love with trees and I’m so fortune that I live in a neighborhood where I can appreciate their splendor on my daily walks. Here are some of “my friends” from today’s walk.
On our walk today, the light was amazing. It is a beautiful Southern California day to be thankful for as I send prayers to the people affected by the tornadoes and bad weather back east. Captivated by the beauty of the light filtering through the trees–so beautiful.
When I am on my walks, I try to spend some time looking closely at the small details I wouldn’t see if I didn’t focus in and other time taking in the bigger beauty and landscape. I’m lucky to live in an amazing neighborhood that shares itself with me everyday and reminds me how amazing Mother Earth is.
